Nowhere festival, found 100 miles west of Barcelona, 30 miles east of Zaragoza, 2000 attend, half of which arrive prior to aid the creation of the event from building structures to facilitating the services of a small township, made up of a number of quarters 'Barrio's' that's main aim is to have a great party in a beautiful yet survivalist demanding environment.
I was asked to get involved as lighting designer by the central Barrio, Werkhaus, to light the festivals main points of infrastructure, the Gate, NoInfo - the info centre, Middle of Nowhere - the central venue, Container village - the Werkhaus compound and Werkhaus itself, the partying, slumbering, dining core of the Barrio and the festival's central nervous system.
